Today is Friday, which means we’re kicking off the weekend, which means I’ll just get to the point - bacon-wrapped eggs.

If you’re saying “what?!” just hear me out. If you’re saying “hell yeah” either keep reading or just go straight to the video. This is why we love them:

1. Great way to feed a group - You have people in town? A large family? Whip out your muffin tins and knock out a dozen of these in 20 min or so. Genius.

2. Easy and portable - If you are like me, you might be planning on tailgating before a football game this weekend. Bring a container of these suckers to the tailgate and you will definitely be an early odds-on favorite.

3. Nutritionally sound - If you’re on a strict diet, you might want to tweak the recipe a bit to leave out the cheese, use uncured bacon, or use another meat for wrapping, but all-in-all, this is a nutritionally sound breakfast for being so portable and quick to prepare. It’s hard to find such a thing that is not smashed between two muffins, biscuits, or pancakes.
