Buffalo Stuffed Mushrooms

With ground buffalo from a local butcher and a few other basic ingredients, you can prepare this meaty appetizer for guests. Meat and mushrooms get a kick from any combination of spices and other ingredients you decide to throw in.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground buffalo
- ~4 cups button mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 golden delicious apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup raw walnuts, chopped
- 1 egg
- salt & pepper
Preparation
- Combine buffalo, apples, walnuts, egg and salt & pepper and mix well.
- Lay mushrooms upside-down on a baking sheet.
- Spoon meat mixture into each cap.
- Bake at 325 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through.
